James is an established and able advocate with a conspicuous ability to achieve not guilty verdict in difficult cases. With many years of experience and practice James now specializes is in defending serious violent and sexual offences, appearing on behalf of defendants charged with matters such as murder, kidnap, and rape.

As well as distinguishing himself as a trial advocate, James is a capable appellate advocate, having successfully appeared in Criminal Division of the Court of Appeal for appeals against both conviction and sentence. 

Nicola is a Senior Solicitor and Managing Director with a wealth of experience as a solicitor and advocate representing clients to High Court level in both civil and criminal matters. Nicola’s main practice is in criminal law. Her intellectual versatility, combined with her wide-ranging insight as to how the law can be effectively applied in novel ways has been invaluable to those she represents including the successful overturning of a conviction in the High Court, establishing one of the leading authorities in defining the law on assaults on police officers and the successful contesting of a High Court cross-jurisdictional civil matter.

James qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and specialises in civil litigation, employment, crime and extradition. James has higher rights of audience in criminal courts which allows him to represent clients in the Crown Court and all Criminal Appeal Courts. He has a great deal of experience with dealing with all issues regarding employment. This is from drafting and advising on contracts and other documents, through to claims in the Employment Tribunal. James advises on numerous areas of civil litigation which includes debt recovery, injunctions and actions against the police and other public bodies. James is able to attend to act for clients for most matters that reach the County Court. In terms of his criminal practice, he is known in particular as very experienced police station representative. He has conducted litigation and has acted at police station or courts on the full spectrum of criminal offences. This includes murder; terrorism; serious sexual offences and large-scale fraud. James is also an expert on advising those subject to criminal proceedings for motoring offences.

James is a solicitor who specialises in criminal, licensing, and professional disciplinary matters. He represents clients in investigations, trials, and appellate and judicial review proceedings. He has received praise from clients and their families, fellow lawyers, and Magistrates.

Tim both prosecutes and defends. He specialises in cases involving contested expert evidence and has experience of questioning, amongst others, psychiatrists, forensic scientists, neuro surgeons, and paediatricians. Tim has also dealt with a number of high profile cases involving children being trafficked from West Africa into the United Kingdom as well as several multi-handed fraud cases.

Tim has extensive experience of immigration offences and abuse of process arguments in relation to defendants who have been the victims of human trafficking. 

Sajjaad is an experienced criminal defence solicitor of many years standing. Sajjaad has been a Solicitor since 1999 and prior to joining the firm has previously managed crime departments in high street law firms and in a national law firm.  Sajjaad currently attends on all matters in the police stations and Magistrates Courts on a regular basis and manages a busy caseload in the Crown Court.  Sajjaad has represented clients in the most serious cases such as rape, murder and terrorism and a number of his cases have been reported in the National Press.  Sajjaad is passionate in the defence of his clients and always strives to secure the most favourable outcomes for his clients.

Revantha is an experienced advocate with a heavy-weight criminal defence practice.  He defends across the full spectrum of criminal offending including representation at the Crown Court in several murders. Revantha is regularly instructed in complex, multi-handed cases requiring detailed consideration of voluminous papers. Revantha also has specialist knowledge of immigration law appearing regularly at the Immigration and Asylum Chambers (Upper Tribunal and First-tier Tribunal) as well as in High Court proceedings.

Simran is an experienced solicitor who advocates for clients in criminal and extradition proceedings in the Magistrates’ Court. Tania graduated with a First Class degree in Law with Criminology. Tania excels in litigation of both criminal and extradition matters. She is a police station representative and continues to impress at all levels having recently obtained 3rd place in the John Jones QC Essay Competition 2025 from the Defence Extradition Lawyers Forum. She is a native Romanian speaker.

Edoardo graduated in Law from the University of Florence, Italy, before successful completion of his Masters in Criminology with Forensic Psychology in the London. Edoardo’s diverse knowledge of the criminal justice system in both the UK and Italy together with his forensic acumen provides a unique perspective utilised in his work in both the criminal and extradition departments. Edoardo undertakes criminal litigation at all stages of the criminal justice system.

Zeina graduated from the University of Bristol. With a degree and Master’s in Law, followed by successful completion of the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), Zeina utilises her intellectual skills within the criminal and extradition departments, litigating cases at all stages of proceedings and supporting clients through each step of the criminal justice process.

Sarah is an administrative assistant. Sarah is an important part of the team, efficiently and effectively supporting solicitors in day to day administration. Sarah is a talented linguist who speaks fluent German and Arabic.
